At BJYA, Jewish learning is not only something students read about. It is something they practice, celebrate, and share—in the classroom, at synagogue, and with the people around them.
After Hurricane Milton, fallen trees blocked the driveway and the congregation's power stayed out through the end of Yom Kippur. But our community built a makeshift sukkah—and with plenty of palm leaves for the roof, we still shook the lulav and etrog together.

from the ground up.
BJYA has written its own books and built a customized digital layer around in-person teaching—because Jewish education should not have to fit inside someone else's template.

Every course begins with original BJYA materials—not generic purchased content—written to make Jewish learning meaningful, inviting, and age-appropriate.
A reader built around the lesson
Our customized digital reader pairs each book with Hebrew, transliteration, English support, pronunciation-aware read-aloud tools, and chapter-linked video resources.
Class meets in person. Learning stays close.
The portal keeps books, Hebrew supports, videos, and readings available when a student wants to practice or refresh between classes—giving families a thoughtful window into what their child is learning.
